Reza is a world famous National Geographic photographer whose work has been published in numerous international publications including Time, Vanity Fair, Newsweek, New York Times Magazine and more.
He was awarded the Hope Prize for his works on behalf of Rwandan refugees. He also founded the Afghan Media and Culture Center to promote the principles of a free press to the men and women of Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban. He was also honored with the Medal for Distinguished Service in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
